Beginning in Assiniboine Park, the CancerCare Challenge for Life is a 20-kilometre walk that will take participants through some of Winnipeg’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods on Saturday, June 11, 2011. The walk helps Manitobans reduce their risk of cancer and increases awareness of all cancers, while raising significant funds to support CancerCare Manitoba’s work on behalf of Manitobans and their families living with cancer. Register online or call 204-927-5433.The registration fee is $25. During the registration process, you can choose to join as an individual, create a team or join an existing team.
