The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced on Oct. 13 that the baseball club is one of four teams from the Northern League that is merging with the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball Clubs. Joining Winnipeg in the merger with the American Association are the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, Gary SouthShore RailCats and Kansas City T-Bones. Season tickets and nine-game mini-packs for the 2011 season are available by calling the Goldeyes office at 982-BASE (2273) or by visiting www.goldeyes.com.
Also, throughout the season, nine home games will be followed by a fireworks show conducted by the award-winning (and past Winnipeg Men cover-gracing) Archangel Fireworks, beginning with opening day on May 12.
