To date, the organizations have raised almost $300,000 dollars. Thanks to Winnipeggers’ votes in the CFL Pepsi Refresh Challenge, Blue Bomber lineman Luke Fritz just raised $50,000 for the initiative, after going up against Roughrider Rob Bagg in the competition to win money for a local charity. The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg announced it would also donate $10,000 if Fritz won, making Hunger for Hope’s tally a whopping $60,000.
