Updike spent nine years as the morning host at CJOB before leaving last summer to become a spokesman for Siloam Mission. “I’m very, very excited about it. I never lost my love of radio and found that I missed it when I was away from it,” says Updike, “I’m looking forward to communicating with an audience in front of a microphone again, and I’m really looking forward to the team atmosphere at CBC.”
