Product #1 Clif Bar—Chocolate Almond Fudge

Did it look tasty?
Truthfully it looked a bit like a turd, but I was cool with that.

How did it taste?
I thought it tasted good. Sort of like a rich brownie with extra goodness.

What activity did you do?
I went skateboarding.

Did it actually give you more energy?
I didn’t notice an extreme difference.

Would you use this product again?
I enjoyed the taste and thought it would be good to have around in a pinch.

Other comments:
70% organic= 70% rad.

Product #2 Promax—Caramel Peanut

Did it look super delicious?

I am not going to lie to you, it looked super delicious!

How did it taste?
It tasted like a peanut buster parfait hold the ice cream. I dug it.

What activity did you do after you ate this energy bar?
Surfing.

Did it give you more energy?
I felt Rocky when he beat up Clubber Lang, except in the ocean. Best surfing day of the week.

Would you buy it again?
Absolutely. It was super delicious, and nutritious.

Comments:
I am down with this product. Promax. Let’s do it. I feel like an American Gladiator.

Product #3 Powerbar Harvest—Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

Did it look good?

It looked like a lot of cereal glued together.

How did it taste?
Sort of tasted like I was tilling fields with my mouth.

What activity did you do after you ate this energy bar?
Surfing again.

Did it energize you?
I felt pretty energetic after eating it. I think it helped. Maybe I was just stoked to be in California though.

Would you use this product again?
It tasted decent though it looked a bit sketchy. I would use it again.

Product #1 Clif Bar

First impressions?
Although anticipating something grand in this power bar due to the brand, the packaging was dull and featured a mountain climber. I figured this wasn’t for me, because I wasn’t about to go climb a mountain.

Did it look super delicious?
It looked like nuts and grains found on the forest floor and held together with some brown edible element. It was also in the shape of nothing I’ve ever seen manufactured.

How did it taste?
I liked this one quite a bit, it had a bitter side to it so that it didn’t feel like I was eating a chocolate bar.

What activity did you do?
I tried to golf. That worked to my usual game, although having had only five hours of sleep and still hungover I could only ask for so much.

Did it actually give you more energy?
I would say yes, because I had zero to begin with.

Would you use this product again?
Yes.

Product #2 Promax

Did it look super delicious?
It looked like a chocolate bar, sometimes I like those.

How did it taste?
It tasted like a tough chocolate bar, with a bit of bitterness and again, I like the bitterness, so I say it tasted good.

What activity did you do?
Skateboarding.

What would you normally eat before skating?
When I was younger it used to be a Slurpee or a litre of chocolate milk. Now I just have lots of water. More often than not I skate, then eat.

Did it actually give you more energy?
I think it may have.

Would you use this product again?
Maybe, but I’d probably go with the Clif bar.

Product #3 PowerBar Harvest

Did it look super delicious?

It looked like nuts and grains found on the street held together with some white edible matter.

How did it taste?
It was really tough, and tasted okay, but had a great minty aftertaste!

What activity did you do?
I moved many boxes, walls, and pieces of furniture to our new office.

What would you normally eat before doing this activity?
I don’t move too often, so again this is hard to answer.

Did it give you more energy?
I didn’t feel anything noticeable, it was a Friday, I was amped for the weekend, and a drink after work so I was working pretty hard…

Would you use this product again?
Probably not, I didn’t care for the texture.
