Product: Lush Sympathy for the Skin
Do you normally use a moisturizer?
Yes–I do. But don’t tell my hunting buddies that...
Before you started using it, did you think you’d like this product?
Sadly, I have to admit I have used the Lush brand before. The foot cream is nice. However, again, don’t tell my hunting buddies.
For how long did you use this product?
3 weeks.
What did you think of the product’s scent?
The product smelled like dessert. I had one co-worker attempt to eat it. He’s no longer with us.
How did it make your skin feel?
It took me a bit to figure out the right amount to apply. Too much left my hands feeling like greasy bags of water. Just a suggestion–don’t type after application. The keyboard will get greasy. Try explaining that one to your IT department.
Did you notice any results?
As a paper pusher, my hands dry out frequently. And this did the job to keep them soft. My wife thanks you.
Describe the results.
Instantaneous.
Did you get any feedback on your new silky smooth skin?
The women in the office liked it. I kept the container on my desk and it seemed to draw a lot of attention from them. Maybe I should have given this to the single guy in the office.
Would you use this product again?
Sure, if the price was right.
Would you use any moisturizer again?
It all comes down to $$.
Anything else?
Nice product, smells good.
Subject: Peter D. Occupation: Teacher
Product: Vaseline Intensive Rescue Extra Strength Lotion
Do you normally use a moisturizer?
Yes.
Before you started using it, did you think you’d like this product?
Yes, Vaseline has a good rep.
For how long did you use this product?
3 weeks.
What did you think of the product’s scent?
Unique and irritating—does it have a urea base? The only thing wrong with this lotion is the smell stays with you.
How did it make your skin feel?
Good.
Did you notice any results?
My skin felt smoother.
Would you use this product again?
No.
Would you use any moisturizer again?
Yes.
Anything else?
Change the scent and this will sell. A good moisturizer does not necessarily need a fragrance!

Subject: Rudy D. Occupation: Engineer
Product: Lubriderm Intense Dry Skin Repair
Do you normally use a moisturizer?
Occasionally.
Before you started using it, did you think you’d like this product?
Not really–it’s a pretty drab exterior.
For how long did you use this product?
3 weeks.
What did you think of the product’s scent?
What smell?
How did it make your skin feel?
Sort of like a layer of wax on my skin. Like it left a residue instead of just soaking into the skin (more so then other creams).
Did you notice any results?
I think it works relatively well.
Describe the results.
Relatively affective (B), longer lasting than some but I don’t like the ‘residue feeling’.
Did you get any feedback on your new silky smooth skin?
NONE.
Would you use this product again?
No, I prefer the liquid (not cream) Nivea.
Anything else?
The bottom-squeeze bottle is OK, but pump action liquid containers are better. Perhaps this product is too thick for that…
