The current issue at hand is the potential new football stadium that David Asper is proposing for our Blue Bombers. On the sports front, we have only to go back a few years—to the 1999 Pan Am Games, when public funds helped to build Canwest Park and to 2003, when they helped build the MTS Centre.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of 92 CITI FM has allowed me to reflect back on my own years in broadcasting, which number almost 30 as well.

 

I can remember trying to look behind my parents’ stand-up radio/record player, when I was about three years old to try and see the miniature people who I was sure were back there doing all that talking and singing.
