THE BALANCING ACT OF BUSINESS AND CASUAL
There comes a time in every man’s life when he must accept what the light dusting of gray in his mane and deepening laugh lines are already telling him: that like every man before him – even Jesus and Brad Pitt-he is getting older.

Click to watch David Asper’s announcement about the new stadium proposal on youronlinechannel.com.
_____________________________ Following the City of Winnipeg’s rapid-transit announcement, involving a corridor from downtown to the University of Manitoba, David Asper upped the ante in his effort to build a new football stadium in Winnipeg with a new proposal. On Sept 15, Asper announced that he is now offering $100 million to go towards building the stadium, and the U of M entered into an agreement with Asper’s Creswin Properties to allow the facility to be built at Chancellor Matheson Drive and University Crescent. The new proposal is being touted as more of an amateur sports complex than the previously proposed Point Douglas and Polo Park locations and will also be the home of the U of M’s Manitoba Bisons football team. This new community-friendly angle and location is hoped to bring in the $35 million in government money needed to fund the rest of the building costs.

Finally, a beauty of a day—and it’s only the third week of June.
