Get the Skinny
“One of the nice trends in men’s is that guys are finally figuring out that narrowbottoms are cool,” says Michael Silver president and owner of Silver Jeans. “You needa fabric that has elasticity, so there’s comfort in those narrow bottoms. They’re good indark, they’re good in black, but they’re also good in those medium tones.”

Pocket It
“Another that’s still a strong look—not necessarily a fashion-leader look, but a strong look—is the flat back pocket, fairly heavy-stitch, but darker wash looks,” says Silver. “Not the white stitching, but a heavy gold or orange-type stitching is certainly an important look.”
Stone Cold
Another huge trend in jeans left over from winter is shady grey washes. If you’re not into starchy raw denim, most of the grey denim we’ve come across is distressed, so is softer and more comfortable to wear.

The New Khaki
“Very similar to (a trend) in women’s, is non-denim. Either in a cargo or a straight-or narrow-bottomed chino—those are stepping out of denim, out of blue for a moment,” says Silver. “Every guy’s now got to have khakis, but they’re not golf khakis—they’re narrow...Oh, and with the narrow bottoms and the chinos, you’ve got to roll them up. It’s almost the law now!”
